User-friendly control
The RXDC is equipped with a simple, user-friendly handheld device. This is used to select the most suitable programme and ensure perfect X-ray acquisition.
High definition, minimum dose
The RXDC increases X-ray parallelism: thanks to the incorporated collimator the RXDC can achieve a source-to-skin gap of 30 cm. Maximum versatility and mobility. The RXDC is now even more practical and versatile, wall-mounted with 6 variable positions - 3 extensions available in the following lengths: 40, 60 and 90 cm - or, thanks to the cart, it can easily be moved around for use in different areas of the surgery.
Collimator cones
An embedded collimator cone gives a source-to-skin distance of 30 cm. The optional rectangular cone further reduces the body area exposed to X-rays.


Multilevel Digital Imaging

Castellini presents a stylish, practical solution that combines digital technology with the ergonomics of film. The X-PSP scanner allows for accurate diagnosis via images that are obtained comfortably, practically and simply. Conveniently incorporated into the device, the removable drawer lets the dentist store the plates and carry them from one surgery to another.

Advanced Functions, Optimized Images.
The MultiLEVEL function simultaneously provides the physician with five images. Each one is enhanced by iES algorithms that apply different filters to highlight anatomical details in a specific way. This lets the dentist further refine the diagnosis.

Thanks to the Multi-Room function, which can be used from the X-PSP scanner, dentists can manage the remote scanning system via a SERVER connection. The reservation is made from the workstation alongside the patient. A series of images is automatically saved in the the patient records selected by the surgery in question. The images will be displayed immediately on the PC next to the patient. Thanks to this function, the procedure takes less time and improves work flow.

Immediate Display
After acquisition, the image becomes available on a PC or portable device in just a few seconds, offering the same immediacy as an X-ray acquired with a digital X-ray sensor. This shortens the session time and makes doctor-patient communication easier.



Intraoral sensor with X-Visus HD technology

Made-to-measure sensor
X-VS - X-ViSUS HD technology allows users to choose between two sensor sizes; these make it more adaptable to the dimensions of the patient’s oral cavity. Outstanding positioning comfort thanks to ergonomic sensors with rounded corners; high performance thanks to compact design and a maximised active area.

Latest-generation HD sensor
4-layer sensor with an additional protective layer to provide sharp, high-contrast images. Caesium Iodide (Csl) scintillator made up of column-like micro-structures that preserve image quality; it first intercepts the X-ray beam and converts it into visible light. The Fibre Optics Plate (a layer of fibre optics) collimates the radiation onto the sensor and protects it against direct X-ray penetration. The high definition (CMOS HD) acquisition device and on-board electronics convert the light into a digital image with 16,384 grey levels.

With the new CASTELLINI iES (Image Enhancement System) filters, dentists can now simultaneously capture, display and share a set of Multi Level images (up to 5). Each image is the result of a different improvement designed to highlight various anatomical details with different levels of sharpness.


3D Digital Impression Intra Oral Scanner

The dental scanner designed by dentists. With 3Di IOS, you can, at last, easily perform a precise intraoral examination that’s pleasant for the patient and advantageous for the dental surgery. At just 150 grams, it’s one of the lightest intraoral scanners on the market. 3Di IOS incorporates the combined experience of multiple dentists. To begin with, the ergonomics of the handpiece - the heart of the system - has been designed to adapt to a range of individual grips. Latest-generation Active Stereo Imaging has allowed considerable lightening of components inside the handpiece.

Workflows have all the speed and accuracy that only digital technology can provide. Intuitive and essential, the software interface guides the user all the way to scan validation in just a few clicks.
From prescription to sending the impression to the dental technician, everything proceeds quickly, smoothly and error-free. In-chair patient waiting times have been considerably reduced, and labs can send real-time feedback. Being able to export in the STL, PLY or OBJ formats means files are compatible with any sharing system, also via e-mail.
Making impressions on implants is much simpler than with traditional materials. What’s more, 3Di IOS software incorporates a specific implant treatment scan flow.
In addition to STL, PLY and OBJ, to facilitate and speed up communication between surgery and laboratory, scan files can be exported in dedicated formats, optimised for importing into the most popular dental CAD software tools.
