Flexibility of use make the Piezosteril 6 and Piezolight 6 (version
with fibre optic lighting) versatile aids for ultrasound operations in
prophylaxis, conservative dentistry, periodontics and endodontics. The key features of the instrument are the extensive power adjustment range, self-regulation to prevent overheating of the handpiece and/or irrigating liquid and perfect linearity of ultrasound vibrations from 25 to 32 kHz. Moreover, the instrument is fully autoclaveable. |

Over and above the sheer versatility of the handpiece, Piezosteril 6 is
completely interchangeable with the ultrasonic surgical handpiece. It
can be used on the same hose and benefits from automatic recognition on
Castellini units with the necessary set-up. Prophylaxis Periodontics - Restoration Tips made of special high yield elastic steel with great wear resistance may be autoclaved. Endodontics For endodontic treatment and retreatment, the scaler provides ease and safety of action to the delicate root canal instrumentation with a very fine power adjustment capability. Possibility of irrigation with dedicated fluids. |

Surgison 2 is at the cutting edge in dental instruments, especially suited for oral surgery: implant, periodontal, endodontic, and orthodontic or extraction procedures. The Surgison 2 ultrasonic surgical handpiece enables one to perform many different osteotomy procedures with the highest clinical safety and quality. There are some very intriguing extraction applications available alongside the restoration and prosthetic procedures. On Skema 6 the Surgison 2 handpiece is perfectly interchangeable with the Piezolight 6 Scaler, whilst with Piezosteril 6 the hose must be changed. In both cases the surgical handpiece is automatically recognised and controlled by the dental unit. Irrigation is with dedicated fluids in a totally aseptic environment by way of the peristaltic pump installed on the dental unit (optional). Surgison 2D On the DUO Plus the Surgison 2D handpiece is completely interchangeable with the Piezosteril 6 Scaler or the Piezolight 6 and is automatically recognised and controlled by the dental unit. Irrigation is accomplished with dedicated, completely aseptic fluids owing to the Autosteril treatment system of the internal water lines on the dental unit with a fast acting chemical steriliser and thanks to the separate supply system with fluids sterile at their origin.
